Heaven's Door

On a hill in the distance
A young boy quietly waits
Patiently he watches
For his family at the gates
His blue eyes shine so brightly
As hope swells within
For soon he'll see his loved ones
And never part again
How joyous will be the meeting
As mother holds her child
And father kisses softly
The angel-his long lost child

lastnight at bedtime i looked out, to say goodnight to you. and out of the window through the clouds , a star came shining through. sparked and it twinkled. like a precious diamond stone, and it looked as if it winked at me. and i felt less alone, on earth we can see starlight, even if the star as gone. and though you are not with us, your light still does shine on. so though i cannot kiss your face. or tuck you in all tight, ill look up to heaven and see a star , and whisper your goodnight . darling shanelee love grandma xxxxxxxxxx
